Meet Kate, the inspiring founder of Ballantyne Studios. With a lifelong passion for fitness, she has dedicated her career to coaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. As a qualified synchronised swimming coach and judge, Kate brings a wealth of expertise and a unique perspective to her Reformer Pilates sessions.
Her extensive background in movement and technique allows her to create dynamic, effective workouts that elevate your fitness journey. With a commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering environment, Kate is here to help you unlock your full potential and achieve your wellness goals.

WHICH CLASS IS FOR YOU?
INTRO
Suitable for all fitness levels and ages, including complete beginners. This class is designed to introduce you safely to the world of Reformer Pilates.
New members must book onto an Intro Class or a Beginners Course for their first session at Ballantyne Studios.
TONE
Suitable for all fitness levels and ages, including complete beginners.
Recommended for complete novices as well as reformer aficionados.
TONE & STRETCH
Low intensity class with a focus on core strength, control and stretching out our bodies.
The perfect class for anyone who wants to tone their body, improve their flexibility and get a good stretch.
BEGINNERS COURSE
A four week long programme, the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Reformer, build your confidence and develop your technique.
New members must book onto an Intro Class or a Beginners Course for their first session at Ballantyne Studios.
SCULPT
A full body class designed to increase and define muscles, build strength and improve your posture and flexibility.
This class will challenge your body and find muscles that you didn't know you had.
BOOTY
This is where we use the reformer to maximise our gluteals, sculpt our hips and shape our legs.
A great workout for the lower half of the body.
REFORMER FOR MEN
Men often have different physical fitness problems to women, things such as lack of flexibility, poor posture, and a lack of core stability.
This class is designed specifically with men in mind.
REFORM
Our technically challenging class, this class will elevate your expectations of strength and endurance while challenging your core stability, muscle strength and concentration.
Expect to challenge your body and mind.
CARDIO
A high cardio, full body reformer workout which includes the bounce board. High intensity.
Get ready to jump, sweat, and sculpt in this high-energy class, blending Pilates precision with plyometric power for a low-impact, full-body cardio burn.
