WHICH CLASS IS FOR YOU?
TONE
You must start your reformer journey at Ballantyne’s by completing 3 Tone Classes before you can move on to sculpt.
Suitable for all fitness levels and ages, including complete beginners.
You must book onto this class for your first three sessions at Ballantyne Studios. Get to know the reformer, learn essential and signature moves, build your body awareness, realign your posture and gain strength from head to toe.
Recommended for complete novices as well as reformer aficionados.
SCULPT
You continue your reformer journey at Ballantyne’s by moving to Sculpt Classes where you must complete 10 and be approved by your instructor to move up to Reform Classes.
Our mixed ability full body class designed to increase and define muscles, build strength and improve your posture and flexibility.
This class will challenge your body and find muscles that you didn't know you had. Variations are given for each exercise, allowing you to control the intensity of your workout and props such as balls, rings and weights may be used to assist the workout.
REFORM
Our technically challenging class, this class will elevate your expectations of strength and endurance while challenging your core stability, muscle strength and concentration.
A total body workout, creatively utilising the Reformer with a variety of props including hand weights, fitness circles and balls to challenge you in unique ways each class. This class is not "intense" in the usual gym way where sweatier is better, where you "push yourself to your limits" or do two more reps than last week. It isn't HIIT or Cross Fit or Boot Camp. This in "Intense" in a completely different way. You isolate and work small muscle groups, engaging your core and building up your posture muscles.
